What is telehealth?

The Health Resources Services Administration “defines telehealth as the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration. Technologies include videoconferencing, the internet, store-and-forward imaging, streaming media, and terrestrial and wireless communications.”

Do I have to see a medical provider in person?

No. Since the pandemic and social distance safety Telehealth has been a new way of how care is provided to our patients. Everything is done online via a virtual face to face consult through our HIPPA protected platform.

Is my patient information protected?

Healthcare practices are required to act under rigorous and specific state and federal regulations regarding the safe-keeping of PHI, or protected health information. We use HIPPA compliant online intake forms to collect patient’s medical information which allows us to adhere to strict HIPPA/PHI compliancy.

What is the age requirements for Vitababe weight loss protocols and home kit?

Minimum age requirement is 21.

How much weight am I expected to lose?

Every patient is different. Majority of our patients expect 1-2lb or more per week of weight loss. It all depends on patient adherence to the program, genetics, current metabolic state, past yo yo dieting, etc.

What is Intermittent Fasting?

Intermittent Fasting is alternating time of eating of fasting and eating that can be customized to fit your lifestyle.

Is fasting safe?

If you don’t have any underlying medical condition you can fast.

Who can’t fast?

Pregnant women and nursing mothers

  • Patients who are diagnosed with Adrenal diseases, chronic renal disease, cortisol dysregulation.
  • Patients with Porphyria
  • Children under 19
  • Any patient who is malnourished, anorexia, and has an eating disorder.
  • Patients who are Diabetic and are diagnosed with Hypertension must be cleared by their primary physician first prior to starting a Vitababe Fasting protocol due to medication adjustments.

Will I always be hungry during a fast?

For the first 3-4 days you will feel hungry because your body is adjusting. With time your body adapts and you will feel less hungry,

Can I take medications/supplements while I’m fasting?

Depends on the medication. Diabetics and Hypertensive patients would need to adjust their medication with their primary care providers. Please speak to your primary care physician prior to starting a fast. Vitamin supplements would need to be adjusted and taken during non-fast time.

What is a Modified Keto diet?

Modified Keto is alternating your days of eating low carbohydrates, moderate, and high carbohydrates. We believe in living a balance life and indulging occasional treats.  We find great success with our patients adhering to our program by having more flexibility with their nutrition.

Do I have to do a Ketone test?

You can if that makes you adhere to the program but it’s not necessary. We don’t promote Ketone testing because of its inaccuracy and it’s not realistic for the busy adult schedule. Ketone levels will always vary and we don’t want our patients to be discouraged by a false Ketone level test.

Am I able to exercise while doing the Fasting and Modified Keto Protocol?

If you’re at the beginner stage of your fitness we recommend you to hold off on exercising for a week until your body adjusts.  For those who have been exercising should scale back their intensity until their body adjusts. This usually takes 1-2 weeks depending on the person.

Do I have to self-inject my Vitamins?

Yes. You can also choose to have a medical professional who is qualified to do intramuscular injections to inject you.

Does injecting myself hurt?

Everyone’s pain threshold is different. However, if inject properly you should feel a pinch.  We are aware of fear of pain when injecting therefore we prescribe the smallest needle possible for our patients. In addition, you are able to purchase numbing cream via Amazon prior to injecting to minimize potential pain.

Do I have to refrigerate my Vitamins?

Yes. We recommend you to refrigerate your Vitamins.  There will be instructions from pharmacy on how to store your medication. For those who are taking GACLIV it is required to have it refrigerated.

How long does it take for my prescription to arrive?

We have various shipping options. Our standard is Ground shipping. From time order is placed and processed you should receive your Home Kit within 7-14 business delays depending on other unforeseen delays. Don’t worry you can take this time to start making life adjustments to embark on your new wellness journey!

Where do I dispose my used syringe needles?

You can purchase a BD Sharps container from us or purchase one through Amazon as well. For disposal of needles check with your local trash removal services or health department. How often do I have to inject?

Depends on each patient. Our medical provider will review your information and prescribe the appropriate dosage and frequency of injections. Most of our patients inject 1-3 times a week depending on their health goals.

Refund Policy:

Home Kits: Our Home Kits are medications specifically formulated per patient and therefore cannot be refunded. We have a “no refund policy”.  Each vial has an expiration date and you may use it until the expiration date specified on the vial and in your chart. We highly recommend once you receive your Home Kit to start your program

Protocol E-books:

Once purchased and downloaded we do not allow a refund due to high incidences of ebook piracy and copyright protection of our content. If you have not downloaded the e-book we will gladly provide you with a full refund. 

Transformation Protocol:

One on One weight loss program with a medical provider. Once purchased you have up to 48 hours to cancel from your purchase date and we will refund your money. Creating a customized program for our patient takes time, expertise, and efforts to build your program and to ensure you succeed in this program.
